Alan D. Warpner, mayor of Ontario city of US, Gerald Dubois, congress man of Ontario government, Mary Jane Olhasso, head of Economic Development Department of Ontario government, Zhang Jinsheng, Secretary-general of International Small and Medium Enterprise Trade Development Union, Wang Lian, head of Chinese City Operation Association and other famous domestic and foreign experts as wel as Gu Xihong, executive director of Fu Tong Group and other talents in the domestic real estate made a special report on the pattern of the city operation and the internationalization of the business operation of the city.

Under the careful organization of International Small and Medium Enterprise Trade Development Union, 40 American guests and traders of the United States Ontario delegation, came to Dongguan with the investment projects in 30 different fields, made a one to one trade discussion with over140 enterprises of Pearl River Delta and reached a great many of cooperations. The amount of cooperation was up to hundred million US dollars.

The representative of Ontario indicated if the Dongguan enterprises reached the cooperation intentions and wanted to develop the California market, the American side would provide all convenients as far as possible and the sites so as to establish a trade window for the Dongguan enterprises to enter into California.

The projects involved in many fields such as real estate and goods carriage

It was reported that it was co-organized by International Small and Medium Enterprise Trade Development Union and “ Wins Weekly” of Guangzhou Daily Group. The investment intentions of Ontario delegation this time were clear extremely. They hoped to find the cooperative partners and business opportunities in Olive oil, real estate, goods carriage, automobile, medicine, electron, import and export trade, food golf facilities, and so on .

Ontario is the most vigor and fastest developing city in South California of US., especially the real estate of it has a mature developing pattern. Ontario is similar with Dongguan that it has advanced manufacturing industry and great ability of per capita consumption. The relative experts think that Dongguan is in the developing stage and short of the experience of city operation. It definitely should cooperate with Ontario, which is quite mature in the business development and the city operation, complement each other and promote the exchange and interaction between two cities through the cooperation of enterprises.

Improving the service of Dongguan can make its GDP increased 2 times. Wang Lian, famous expert of city operation in domestic was invited to make a speech in the summit. Wang Lian pointed out in the speech that Dongguan is a rising star in domestic . Although it has not become an international metropolis, the specification, the scalization, and assemblization of its development made it a city with vigor and extremely broad propect. Wang Lian predicated that if Dongguan improved its service in the existing base, its GDP would increase at least 2 times.

Wang Lian think that the city operation and the business development of Dongguan is still in the elementary stage. The economy develops too fast, the proportion of visible resources such as lands, labors, and products and son on,  technologies, knowledge and services are insufficient. Wang Lian indicated that Dongguan should change the competition of material object to the competition of service in the process of industrial promotion and city operation, definite the core areas of the city, the developing pattern of the industry and the leading direction, so as to become an international commercial city with a special direction.
